About

Waxing Moon Collective is the culmination of a dream and a vision, my love of making art, and the variety of things i like to create. It’s my passion!

Artist, Laura Ingalsbe, is the creativity behind Waxing Moon Collective: fine art studios, and the co-owner of Formed: An Artist Collective.

Ingalsbe has been an artist for almost 30 years now, finding that passion for art in her early teens. She studied painting and sculpture at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. For many years, she found that art was secondary to her, choosing a corporate career over allowing her creative force to flow.

Having recently taken off on an adventure to pursue that passion, that fire that burned within her, Ingalsbe is on a journey to help other emerging artists find success in their art. Welcome to that journey!

Her current collection is representative of her expansive love of the ocean, using the fluid nature of inks to express the natural force of her own emotions. Like all of us, some days they come with the power of a wave, riptide, or tsunami. This is one display beginning in November at the Creamery Arts Center in Springfield, Missouri.

When asked what the future holds, Ingalsbe said, “I’m so happy to share my work with everyone; all of that fear that goes with exposing yourself to the world is melting away, and I look forward to the road ahead. Thanks for being a part of that and supporting me along the way.”
